Why does the WTS only look for righteous members?

and as he sat at dinner in levis house, many tax-collectors and sinners were also sitting with jesus and his disciplesfor there were many who followed him.

My favorite Elder was dropped and demoted a couple of years ago because he went to a wedding banquet where there were some disfellowshipped members.He didn't know that they would be there.He didn't sit at their table.He was told that since he saw that there were some former members there,he should of left the wedding reception.
I asked him why didn't he use Mark 2:13-17.Jesus ate with sinners and tax collectors.He was told by the WTS that Jesus had to eat with them so they would hear his message.What a twisting of scriptures by the WTS!

When the scribes of the Pharisees saw that he was eating with sinners and tax-collectors, they said to his disciples, ‘Why does he eat with tax-collectors and sinners?’ When Jesus heard this, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick; I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.’
The WTS are like the Pharisees.They only look for members who seem righteous.The ELDERS,PIONEERS,MS,PO'S,CO'S,and just about anyone with a position are held to a high regard.If you do not want to reach for any position,you are considered"' weak in the faith.''
Why does the WTS always look down on anyone who is ''SPIRITUALLY WEAK.''

by RULES & REGULATIONS inthe new world translation was written in 1961 and revised twice.the song book was written in 1984.the watchtower magazine only comes out twice a month.the awake magazine might even be dropped one day.it looks like not a whole lot of material is coming out of new york these days.what does this corporation do all month with its time that so little production comes out?.
do you think that the wts are so occupied with lawsuits,real estate deals,wills and estates,and construction of new kingdom halls that the ''spiritual food'' has been declining?
do you think that the writing of less material been noticed by the rank and file?.

Last summer my doorbell rang.I ran downstairs to answer the door.No one was there.I looked on the ground and saw a pamphlet.They rang the doorbell and ran.I used to do the same thing and it will continue since most ot the members know they are forced to go out in service with the same old message.Put in your 10 hours a month and they(WTS,ELDERS) will leave you alone.

What do you think is behind the watchtower change in 2008 ?
by 5go ini think it's an atempt to catch faders or atleast make active dubs feel special.
it also could be a cost cutting measure to though.
getting rid of the km's and even up awakes and watchtowers would save some trees.

The Awake was never well received.Why print millions of copies when you can't even give them away!The WTS is always looking at the bottom line.Donations are down.The only thing they have is their vast real estate holdings.Even some of those holdings have been sold.The Bethel has been downsized.
With no new growth in the near future,the WTS is going to look for new ways to save money.The future doesn't look too bright for them.They will never admit it to the rank and file.

do they want to bother with members like me?
what is their next step?

Have the Elders marked me without telling me? Do they want to bother with members like me? Do they wish I would go away? What is their next step? Will they wait until I make a false step and pounce on me without any mercy? Am I even in their radar?

by winnie inhaving read posts over the last few months, i have come to the conclusion that there must be alot of 'active' jw's who still regularly attend meetings/field service etc.. don't you feel that by posting your many and varied topics, usually complaining/disagreeing with the wbts, that you are being hypocritical?
when you post your information, obtained sometimes in an questionable manner, doesn't it make you question your own underhanded actions?.
you converse with many on this forum who are disfellowshipped/dissasociated, yet if you knew who these ones were, face to face, you would not give them the time of day!

If they had made such disclosures to me, I would have flipped 'em off and went off at that time instead of wasting 35 years in finding it out.
I doubt there is anyone doing what these 'faders' do here, within say the Baptist church. Reason: they don't try and ruin your life for leaving

I'm down to one meeting per week.Yesterday,my wife picked me up from the hall(she's never been a witness) and I was fuming how I can't quit this stupid religion.It was an unbearable meeting yesterday.Any other religion they leave you alone.There's no way of quitting this one.
I was baptized when I was 14 years old.They told me only baptized people made it to the ''NEW SYSTEM".So, I took every step to try to get baptized.I wish they would take back my baptisim since I was so young.That contract should be null and void.
Now,there is only no way to get out of this contract.You can quit and never see your family(my whole family is in) again or go thru the least amount of motions and stay in.This site helps those that are still in more than you can imagine.

My point of no return was about 5 years ago.I was tired and didn't feel well that day. I didn't want to go to the Ministry School,Service Meeting but I made myself.The Service Meeting drove me insane and I told myself that I would never return.
Two sisters were up on stage with the usual Jehovah's Witness offering a householder a Watchtower Magazine and Bible Study.The householder took both and was happy for her return visit.I'm sitting knowing that it never happens that way. Then it hit me......... all we are to the WTS are MARY KAY,AMWAY,and AVON salesman.

1. Armageddon is always around the corner.Lies and false promises. ( I'm still waiting )
2. Do more ! More service ! More attendance! Attend more Assemblies ! ( I really can't do any more......honest )
3. The WTS is just a Book publishing corporation and Real Estate business.( Just think how many books they have published and how much Real Estate holdings they have )
